Secretary of Commerce Sinclair Weeks will speak at the dinner on "Aviation As An Instrument of Peace." Other speakers will be Cornelis Kolff, of The Netherlands, President of the Federation Aeronautique Internationale, world aviation organization, and Gordon R. McGregor, of Canada, President of the International Air Transport Association.
Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd is general chairman of arrangements. Harry K. Coffey, President of N.A.A. will open the program and Lt. General James H. Doolittle will be toastmaster. Each of the pioneers will receive a medal and scroll in recognition of his contributions to the advancement of aeronautics.
A special guest will be Major Charles E. Yeager, U.S. Air Force pilot who was the first man to fly faster than sound, exactly six years before the date of the dinner.
Music will be furnished by the U.S. Air Force Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Captain John Yesulaitis.
Norway and Russia in effect, will be represented by American aviators who began their flying careers in their native lands, Colonel Bernt Balchen, U.S. Air Force Arctic expert, and Igor I. Sikorsky, noted aircraft and helicopter designer.

BELGIUM: Cesar Battaile, Prosper P. Cocquyt and Lieutenant General Baron Theo Wahis.
BRAZIL: Brigadier Newton Braga, Dr. Cezar Grilo, Major Brigadier Antonio Guedes Muniz and Jose Garcia de Souza.
CANADA: J.A.D. McCurdy.
FRANCE: Louis Breguet, Charles Dollfus, and Louis Paulhan.
Germany: Friedrich von Bruddenbrock, Gerhard Fieseler, Generalmajor Wolfgang von Gronau, Professor Doctor Willy Messerschmitt, Helmuth Sachse, and Professor Doctor Herman Schlichting.
