Mon 1932. Soichi Yamada is certainly surprising to me. Who would think he would go to Maui for the track meet? In Kapaa school, he was so small... well, life is like that - it favors a few. Thurs. 1932 I spent my afternoon beating a mattress for my new bed, planting flowers, and writing poems. I revised the first & last sonnets to Edwin Markham. I don't know why H, Addie and Eli are forever calling me genius....
Malcolm & I had a lengthy discussion
