Mon. 1932. H. seems to be falling for M.M., who in turn is ga-ga over R.H. My, my, such a tangled state of affairs. I wrote a Villanelle-Spring Day - today and got an A- for a stiff-French exam.

19  I've sent my handwriting to be analyzed by a N.Y. expert. I wonder if this new analysis will be the same as the one the expert sent me two years ago in which she said I get the

Tues 1932. H&I had loads of fun writing & speaking to each other in French today. The Scholastic arrived - and - such grief! - I didn't place in any, tho' the State winners will be published in the next issue. My Tavannes $37.50 watch came today. oh - boy - it's a beaut. & free, too!

19  keenest enjoyment out of looking at things (true) and that I was a builder in every sense of the word (false) and that I had a shy charm of manner that is very becoming(?)!!!
