Thurs. 1932.  Our play was a grand success at the Hospital.  The audience (nurses & patients) really knew when to laugh [[strikethrough]] - & didn't just stare like the All Saints' audience.  We had the privilege of signing our names in the guest book.

I had an even more pleasant time. Nous [[strikethrough]] nous [[/strikethrough]] sommes arrivés together but she did not dance. I danced my first "regular" with Ruth (who said I was dancing nicely, Lena, my [[strikethrough]] old [[/strikethrough]] soph friend who's now married, and Laura Ching.  The last dance, F was forced by Ed on the floor but I soon managed to exchange Laura for her, and so - the last part of the last

dance! Then escorting her a l'auto mais elle est bonne! bonne! Bien, my premiere experience in inviting une fille turned out gloriously. We had a nice time riding from la Hotel a la école; 
I only wish we have more school days together!
In all, the nuit était perfect! Herb Alex & Manuel Castillo were on the same car.

I shall never forget une significant

Fri. 1932.  We had a moonlite [[sic]] picnic (Hi-Y) at Lydgate.  It was awfully bunk - no moon, plenty rain.  Big crabs, but no grills.  Gee X3 are really very intimate.  Why, Haruto even told us he'll get his first kiss next Friday at the banquet, avec sa fille. The fille who is H's good friend (Eli Hueihee) a prendre my heart by storm I wonder?
