November 21 - November 22
sight seeing trip around town with Lincoln Kanai. We went down to Waikiki - the natatoriam, the dog fish, zoo, etc. At the U, I met Finny, who immediately took a liking to me. We visited the atherton Home & stayed an hour. At McKinley, we had luncheon, and Masao S. & Shoich got lost & had to hike back to the Y. We visited the Academy of Arts, Bishop Museum, and the Pali where a tourist's hat flew to the summit of the hill. That evening, I accompanied the Colou [[??]] bunch, since they were very pleasant to associate with. The Kapaau [[??]] bunch - Roy, Tad, & Ed, as well as Wm Goodwin, visited the most awful places. W. stayed at his relatives, and Herb went with the Lihue bunch. On Thurs, W. took me to his place for luncheon and there D. informed Godfrey's folks as to my being in town. Edwin and Godfrey took W & I to the football game at the stadium. We returned on Walter's car - they took us to their place at Puunui, but W. returned to his place & I had suffer - a big thanksgiving feed, at Godfrey's place. Edwin was very nice to me, and, judging by his actions,
