DECEMBER 16

We had lots of fun today - strolled about & then had the Xmas program in the auditorium. I could have been [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] a shepherd, but refused when asked. We had the white Gifts, & then after school, Alex & I stayed at the library to 2 o'clock, waiting for

DECEMBER 17

the matinee at Lihue - "Cheaters At Play" only to learn that the matinee was cancelled. What a chance I missed - of seeing Wm Bakewell acting. By the way, have I mentioned that I have received Wm B's photo?
