Vicksburg, Miss., March 3rd, 1866. Lieut. STUART ELDRIDGE, Act. Ass't Adj't Gen'l, B.R.F. & A.L., Sir: I have the honor to request that transportation be furnished Jno Dudley and twenty seven (28) others, destitute Freedmen, from Meridian Miss, to Nebletts Landing Miss, by [[blank]].
