Received word 10:30 a.m. that cars were in yard for transportation of company to another camp. Company entrained at 2:30 p.m. but did not pull out of St Sulpice yards until 7:00 p.m. arriving at Libourne at 7:45. p.m. The company was transported in the French box cars, which in this emergency have printed on the sides in large type: 
8 CHEVAUX
40 HOMMES
(8horses, 40 men). Spent the night in Libourne in these cars.
