Looking over my new album of the full moon series: these paintings are of the loneliest space in the world: the white strange moon over the white strange sea.
Here is a world sought over many many years. And here it is: in a language of painting devoid of the entity.

A walk alone to Lobster Cove at 10:30 pm as it was almost the night of the full moon.
A world - the world went grey and enormously strange before me, from the foreshore and across the span of the sea. What sea? What planet is this?
This was the most startling view of the utter + terrible loneliness of the world I had ever seen. I shall never be able to forget it
