Sept. 12 - Began series in black + white (pencil, acrylic, ink) on the sea. 9/14. To White Head. The moon at night. 9/15 - Cool, sunny, windy. The perfect weather. A.M - to Crow's Nest. a look at the sea, the breakers of washerwoman, the white light off Norton's Ledge. Then to [[strikethrough]]P.M.[[/strikethrough]] Burns Head. P.M. Through the woods to Squeaker Cover. The wild coast of rocks pouring into the sea. 9/16 - Through Gull Cove trail to Gull Pond + the Rocks. Fine weather. This is what September is all about. A hazy moonlit night.
