Sat July 17. An afternoon I Lihue - shopping, lunch, the library, then to Wailea - Opaekaa Falls, Coco Palms, etc. The new homes up the river. It was so very warm & [[strikethrough]] unc [[/strikethrough]] uncomfortable all day I came to the conclusion it would not be possible to live here comfortably & enjoyably. All the gardening one could do would be 5 minutes a day. I [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] weeded & fed one rose plant & that was all I could do. On Monhegan I could take care of 15 roses, weed the flower garden & plant vegetables & walk to Burnt Head & entertain friends and enjoy every minute of the day & night.
A decision must soon be made about place & house, and it is being made.
Got to know a young bull today - fed is honohono.
