Dear Mrs. Blake,

Mr. Taylor and I want you to know that our thoughts have been with you and that you and Doris have our deepest sympathy.

We had been visiting Richard and Ruth over the holidays and on our return home found my Mother had had a stroke which has left her completely helpless - we are caring for her at our home with the help of a trained nurse -

Our son Larry told us of Mr. Blake's passing and I called Richard and Ruth who were shocked to hear of this.

Both Mr. Taylor and I will always be grateful to you both for the kind and understanding friendship you so freely gave to Richard, and we are grateful to have known Mr. Blake -

Yours sincerely,
Ethel V. Taylor
