After Church Leo said he would bring Mrs. P Uncle Cliff & myself down. We waited in Mrs. Prathers quite a while until he hitched up. When we got at Mrs. P. (as Mother & Dad didnt come I had to stay all night, there Uncle Cliff was in bed but I dont think he had been there long.

Fri Mar 28, 1919
 Saw Anna after school & I waited for the train with her. She works down to Evelands on Fri. It was cold & clear out all day.

Sat Mar 29, 1919
 Had my regular work to do as usual. We have started the book Kennelworth at school and I had to read a good part of it today. I dont like it because it is so awful dry.
