Dear Doris

Well I will try to write a few lines as Pa didnot get in much of a letter, he said there was nothing to write, we jog along in the same old ruts day after day. Leena is up stairs packing up her things, getting ready to go home, only one week more for her, we are all looking foreward to your coming home next Friday morning. I am putting the trimming on the last chemise then they are ready for use and now I hope the day will clear our storm has lasted two days and a half its been pretty cold, I dig dandelions every day they are getting bitter but are very tender, just right to eat, they are just what Lena is craving, as she does not get them up there. it takes too much of my valuable time though to dig and prepare them. I am over to Kanutes two hours every day in the morning making pies then when I get home it seems good to sit down a little while and get rested up a bit before its time to start on dinner
