I will here to drop a line to Lena before the day is gone. It is not snowing so much now think it will turn to rain.  Stapers has bought the Barn at the place the Pratts used to live and has it most torn down  will build a house for himself close to Chas Parker  We do not hear anything from the J? family in the ? I hope he will not here to serve and he away for a week or ten days.. but as business is rather dull and it may be worse after ??  as all the shops are shut down  I may get along all right   Drakes House keeper got word from home her girl was sick so she left from ? and they are alone now  I dont think she will be back this winter.  dont know what they will do may get along without a woman.
