tied but I sat him down to a good dinner and after that he was another person. I have worked like the devil all the week and I am still alive. Friday afternoon I took my jacket and went over to Mary Ansels we had a good time chatting and the day before I went over to Nellies with my work, she was very agreeable and said she and Mary were coming over to see me and bring their work. Amos sent me up a jug of sweet cider and it went to the right spot, Pa brought home a beautiful bunch 1 1/40 lb Tokay grapes so you see we are going to live high. our dinner was a pot roast with squash, turnips, potatoes, brown bread & a whipped cream pie topped off with sweet cider. Well the rest of the day I am going to take it easy, my bread is most done and there is nothing much more to do. Friday a truck as large as a baggage car brought furniture to Elms'es house, came all the way from Baltimore their piano and all. it cost the man four hundred dollars to move his stuff, so he told Bruce, when he stopped down there on his way up. Well I guess this is all there is this time I suppose you got the other night dress that we sent Monday.

Well good bye for now Ma.
