Sunday fornoon
Doris  As I shall go up to the Cemetery this afternoon I will start Early to write  I have set a row of Beets also about 20 ft of Parsnips and in the Garden was fertilized Wednesday  but that was the only day the last week that it did not rain some time during the day so the Ground is heavy and cold.  no time for the Beans or Summer Squash.  too cold to set out the tomatoes  will wait a week or two more say about Decoration Day.  I tried to put up Screens Tuesday half Holiday but it was too wet. Thursday after supper I got a Telegram from Worcester saying Frank Richardso[[Richardson]] died, very sudden in the fornoon so Yesterday I went to Worcester  Edeth Wayland went along with me  the funeral was at Eleven so we started at 7:40 and
