Dear Doris

There got the dinner started and have a few minutes to spare, so will begin the letter to you. Pa has invited Morey up to have dinner with us, he wants some dandelions as he has not been able to get any this year, so we went out early this morning and dug a nice lot of them and they are on boiling, parsnips also potatoes, and a roast of pork in the oven that with a whipped cream pie will constitute the bill of fare. The day started in sunnie enough but has now clouded over and looks as if it would rain, such abominable weather cold and damk. Lena is making a dress to day for the Faney girl where she has been visiting they gave her a nice time up there I guess and wants her to come up again this summer and I guess she means to divide her time between Aunt Cora's & there
