and Mike Dykeman went down to [[Hingham?]] with his folks and brought home some nice fat ones ([[?]]) and sent us up six, they went well we gave Stanley two of them he likes them, and so do we.

Maude and Ralph were up here Friday night, the boys were down to Canton Pa treated them to sour milk they were quite content we thought, but I think her color is bad, she doesnt strike me as being well. Ralph is growing fat he ought to walk more, they are eating yeast cakes and so is Mort. They are good for boils it is said, and Mort say he would as soon have one between two cookies as to have cheese. I told him that the smell of them was enough for me.

The Hugonis rose bush has got buds on it and it is looking very thrifty we had it well protected with horse manure. There were some white crocus mixed among the yellow both a little later. The snow storm spoilt our Forcythia blossoms but the strait ones were later so are left and they are doing fine the season now is just coming along  our clove bush is blossomed and the lilacs are budding and in another week the flowering [[almond?]] will be out. Pa has moved the rhubarb roots down to the lower end of the garden and I am going to shade up and plant parsnips seeds where they were as the soil there is very rich. We are not going to plant so many vegitables this year as common in another week I shall set out my gladiola bulbs.  Ring set his out a week ago yesterday, together, with his geraniums, she said he was bound to so do we has the cold snow storm after that  well thats all Ma
