Stoughton April 9th 20-

Dear Doris-
I will now write your letter while the dinner is doing I have got my washing on the line, Pa and I went out early this morning to dig around the old raspberry vines where the grass seemed to be getting in and now we think we have got the weeds out, before the tender branches start in and I mean to put a little liquid stuff around each one. our tulips and hyacinths are coming pretty good, the narcissi and daffodills are also doing well, our forcithia bushes never looked better than this year, they are full of blossoms. I have planted lettuce and we are going to start some more in the hot bed. our tomatoes I have got started in the house are big plants, too big we think, other years they have been backward.

Pa is listening in to hear Fremont Temple, we shall get something of Easter the woods will be full of it, and every body squeeking in to get their share. I am waiting for yarn and doing up odd jobs my sewing and such. I hope your seersucker will come now while I am out of crotcheting so things won't clash. Edith Wayland wants to go to Worcester and wants
