[5 Apr. 1925] Doris, One o'clock around forty with shade and the cold wind still with us and I had been in the house since I finished the farm work did think I would take off the windows when it was so nice and warm Friday. we have been on the work since Wednesday it will take about twice as long this year. The Census takes as much and a little more time than the regular work but have made up my mind I will not hurry if we do not get it on time I did not get as you said all in the first week. this week comes the Bank work Sat. Thursday Lodge night and Wednesday we have a hearing on Stoughton Mills Tax for 1924 they are Juries and we have had trouble with them every year so far this time

He had talked about going up and down streets to get everyone's names, etc... on a previous image. Don't know if that is for a City Directory or for a State Census for 1925. But also talks about the work to be done at the Bank.
