Stoughton March 22nd 1925
Dear Doris
This is a glorious day, we are sitting out all of the spare time we have I may take my work out this delightful weather, as I am writing Alice sits by talking to Pa so if there are any mistakes you may lay them to that. Lena came home last night she is all tired out and has had neuritis, but is better and now has nervous dispepsia [[dyspepsia]] she is out on the steps in the reclining chair, Alice is waiting for the Sewalls to come in the auto to take her home to stay their [[there]] all night she is taking a few days off from her labors, she likes as well as usual, and they like her, they brought her over in their auto, she seems glad to see us and is happier than I have ever seen her since Charlie died. Lena is hurrying around getting ready to depart on that 4Oclock train and Alice is going anytime when they come in the car, so then I will be alone again. I have been very busy all day getting the dinner. I called down to Horaces Monday as I was going past. Alice is subsituting [[substituting]] now and is happy.
