I shall have to break in two new ones for Security Committee  I dont fancy it very much.  I was up to see Mr Ferrin this forenoon.  he is in bad Shape  has been at home for the last ten day [[days]]  Heart and kidney  his feet have been swollen hutin [[hurting]] a bit and it has taken hold of his breath, pretty short, he looks well in the face but am afraid his days for work are about all over.  he may by good care, and he is taking care of himself, come back some. I pity him all alone by himself and shall have to drop in and see him more.  I planted last Tuesday 2 Short rows of Peas and scattered some Lettuce seed out of doors it may come.  Some time have I have the glass in the cold frame and spaded the soil in it so I shall be able to get a start before long  we have several crocuses in bloom, and the patch is just full coming up.  The Song of Sparrow are pleanty [[plenty]] and a few Blue Birds  I have seen only one Robin yesterday over by Bertha Reynolds as we were going over to No Sto
