I heard a Flicker calling early this morning and I think one has been looking over the Pine  Fred and myself are to begin in the Office to morrow and Wednesday we go to Boston  The Norfolk  Co Ass. of Addison meet in the Boston Chamber of Commerce on Federal St  a dinner and meeting expect a good time  but suppose from this out shall be boring the rest of tenur [[tenure]] but I do mean not to work as hard as I did last year but [[?]] any way I have not done any where near as much work around home as I have done the last two years.  I got my garden ready last fall so wont have to break any new up this spring.
