Dear Doris
We are haveing a spell of mild weather, yesterday was a beautiful sunny warm day wind still remains in the south, but it is terrible icy. I dont go out only over to the barn and then I am very careful how I cross the street, shall be glad when this icy time gets through.
Ms Blake says come down when its safe walking. She has been sick again, but it is all right now, gripp the Dr broke it up they said the first time he came.
We are pretty well so far in spite of such changeable weather, and are still occupying the front room, we had the Loring family over one night, he has been awful nervous, so bad they have had to dope him nights, but is better now, but somebody has to come up nights to stay with him as he is worse nights, he looks terribly, its in the family his grandmother was own cousin to Charley French. They lay it to taking care of Influenza patients in the war game, that was what he had to do, and the doctor was in there said it was that that caused it. so if he can have his expenses payed by them, I say go to it. I pity Gertrude, Stanley was interested in your snapshots and said he used to go off in the wood with Sidney when he was a little shaver.
