missid [[missed]] her train stayed to supper and then went back for good. She got her a new dress and also a new coat, and took home two dresses she had fixed over while here with Georgie Perkins and her own, and what little I did on them. So she has got pretty well dressed up at last. and when she goes back she is going to a warmer and better place to board she expects. I am to have the dress which is to fix up, turn it and let it down and wash it, she says, and then its [[it's]] a nice fine good navy blue, and the fur coat also is to be mended, and new cuffs to be put on, which will do some service I think, as it was nice in its day but she did not want them and would give them to someone if I did not take them. So I made up my mind to hang on to them while I had the chance. Mrs. Dykeman came up after Xmas and gave me an apron as I forgot to mention those corset covers I will say they are all right, and fit good, they will be fine for this summer, as these are warmer for winter that I am wearing now. I like tight fitting ones as they dont [[don't]] make me look so big and sloppy and those you sent are well made and serviceable. Pa is home and they are going to meet down to Ed Leonards office, the appuisers and Smiths family with a lawyer so Pa says he guesses these letters wont [[won't]] get an early mailing as he expects a long drawn out time of it. She has taken a dose of his nerve tablets and is ready to stand the storm. I pity Ralph and Maude, they are going to have an awful time fighting for their rights in that greedy crowd, they dont [[don't]] think anything of living to get what they can out of the estate.
