for my yarn I should be pretty dull.

Last Sunday night Mort Lamb and Anna came up to spend the evening, they are talking some of going down to Washington and if they go you will be likely to see them.

Mrs Griffin and Mrs Wilcox are going down to Ednas the First of January. Mr Griffin is having lots of trouble with his eyes, blood vessels break in them and they are weak and watery, we think they are pretty serious and its doubtful if he will be able to do much more work in their present condition.

Our turkey lasted a week, we finished the last for supper Thursday night, it was good every meal, and we enjoyed it, the dressing tasted fine on bread and butter, spread over with the celery, after we creamed it, dotted over with a little of the meat.

I may send you some of the thanksgiving plumb pudding if I can find a suitable box for it, as it has been steamed up so it will keep, but you better eat it so not save it for Xmas unless you steam it when it arrives.

It is cloudy and looks like rain but mild, good weather to gather the princes pine and evergreen for Xmas no snow yet, we are happy to say.

I have just put on turnip and potatoes, we are going to have a pot roast for dinner. Mrs Griffin brought over a demijohn full of some beet wine Nelie Horner made its pretty twangy stuff, it goes to the head if you drink much though. dont Sid wish he were around so to sample it: I would rather have his cider for my drinking though. so long
