This week has been a week of cloudy in the first part of day but no rain   Sylvester did not show up until Monday and I had allmost got most grass cut back of house  I told him I was through with him for good, and I finised it all up alone only a small patch of clover I shall have to spend an hour or so on this week   we did not work at the Office this week we begin tomorrow for a two month this time and perhaps longer we had a good day et the Fried day for the Coons as you will see by the paper I got a chance to ride all the way around in the Parade and then in afternoon I took in the muster came home to supper and then looked over the square a little while but was in bed by dark to day I am not doing a thing I have been in to Stoughten with the Howes to look at some land, work took your Ma along started early and was back home a little after nine The Birds are taking our Raspberries as fast as they turn red but they are bearing heavy so am in hopes to get a good share of them. we shall have some grapes dont look
