Dear Doris-
We are having a lowering day to day which will probably wind up in thunder showers before night. Monday the package came the sweater is very pretty and the dress will be becoming to Inga. I hope to begin it soon, but I am finishing up some work that I have begun first. We are having more rains now which keeps things growing in the garden and berries are thriving of which we are going to have an abundance this year & but few grapes. I think Cynthias locusts are in full bloom a field full of them. our roses are looking fine Pa counted eighty buds and blossoms on our Gen Jack rose bush and the bush is only two feet high a little beauty this year. I dont know whether the Hugonis will bloom or not its growing fine This town is having a regular epidemic of Scarlettena the schools were full of it the Morlander kids are down with it and they alow them to go with other kids in the neighborhood.
