I have the honor to submit herewith my report for the month  of May, 1867, Rations

Issued to sick in Hospital and children in the Asylum number 3162. I would respectfully recommend that the ration drawn for the Asylum be increased, as some difficulty is found to make the present allowance answer. It is probable that there will be quite a number admitted during the next month, as many parents are unable to provide for their children, and much suffering, now exists among them. There has been six admitted and one discharged during the month. The number in Hospital continues
