I hereby promise and agree on the word and honor of a gentleman that the freedmen to be transported by me to [[strikethrough]] my [[/strikethrough]] the plantation of Jos. Anderson in Coahoma County, this State, shall be used by me for planting purposes and other necessary farm labor on the said plantation and that I will not sell or otherwise transfer any order of transportation in fare or passage upon such order that I will actually transport the parties named in the Contract to be made under the provisions of the 3d paragraph of the 2nd section of the Bureau Regulations contained in Circular #21 [[strikethrough]] [[?] [[/strikethrough]] series of 1866, from Office Asst Commissioner Bureau R. F. and A. L. for State of Mississippi to the place of destination named in said Contract.
