whites, by breaking of windows &c, the teacher (a Colored man,) repeatedly reported the facts to the parents and civil authorities, but no notice whatever was taken of the matter. I would suggest that large Alphabet Cards and a few Maps be furnished each school.
I am of the opinion that in the winter season, when there is not as much Labor to be done schools might be established exclusively for the adults which would prove beneficial.
In my judgement the plan of admitting pupils of all ages to the same school is not a good one.
I have furnished the teachers with all necessary Blanks and urged upon them the necesity of forwarding these Reports promply
