that the Corn Crop will be from present appearance very large and abundant, more than needed for Home consumption. Cotton is backward for the season, and not more than a two thirds of [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] a Crop of the Lands planted is expected. The proportion of the Land planted this year is about two (2) Acres in Corn, to one in Cotton.
