Vicksburg, Miss,

Dear Sir - Yours of 29th July came to hand this A. M. I thank you for the information it conveys and for the proposition you make in regard to the school at Vicksburg. Our society would be glad to sustain a large and efficient school in your city should an opening for it occur. If the N. W. F. A. Coms relinquishes its work there we engage to occupy the Government Building you mention with as many teachers as the extent of the school shall require. Please advise me in regard to the matter and [[strikethrough]] when [[/strikethrough]] at what time you wish the schools in your District to commence.

Respectfully & truly Yours
J. M. Walden
