Dear Doris
It has cleared after a rainy wild night & bids fair to be a nice spring morning the temperature is 30°. Pa called me to the door to hear a little song sparrow as soon as I came down stairs. he also heard the frogs peep last night, but their voices were too faint for me to hear hard as I tried, though I finally told him that I would take his word for it. but there are lots of spring signes in the air surely. & spring is on her way. The radio broadcasted Tafts funeral services to us yesterday in good shape. it came in very clear the whole thing Pa came in from cleaning the brush
