Doris
The week has been farly [[fairly]] good for our work so it has been better inside than out so much fog. Rain was out to Chapter very late and feed, and came home and was bothered with the cramps the rest of the night - will have to cut out the feed, I guess. Was election at Bank we lost one of the older Trustie [[Trustee]] by one Kelley getting more votes it have to be their year for. [[?]] I have to shingle one side of the old house before I can think of paint so I am going to let your Ma put that check in her saving acct. until I am ready to paint

Transcription Notes:
"Chapter" meeting is an organizational meeting. A later letter mentions the Chapter and "a feed". So it is "feed" not "food".
