Stoughton Feb 26th 1930

Dear Doris,
This is a grey morning. We are going to have a change in our temperature it is already below the freezing mark. Our fire will have to be started in the heater. It went out Sunday & it was so mild we did not need it. I have not seen any birds that have migrated north yet, or heard the frogs peep. I guess its a month too soon here. George McGarvey saw a wild duck out front of his house Sunday morning in the road. & he took to the air mighty quick & flew away. Poor Jack has been badly bitten up by the dogs. He is no
