barn the little birds like to pick, but the jays scream for something more substantial I have not had any letter from Lena this week. on the whole it has been a quiet time every one is staying at home but Mrs Dykeman went down to the theater "Sunny side up" is being played & every one is crazy to see it. They have run it all the week day & night Ralph is ailing sometimes he stays in bed for a day & then he is in the bank. Ruthie says he will have to come to it sooner, or later, same as she did. dont let on from me I told you. but I thought you might like to know they probably dont want to talk about it, but are worried, too bad I am sorry. Fred Clapp is also sick a bad cold. Jennies sister is dead  Elena Pollicut brought here to be buried.
