I had been down to Louie Dykemans the second time after apples they say they are rotting & so wont take pay for them. I hate to go after more on account of it. but we make a lot of apple pies & so how can I help it. I have payed Lonnie forty cents for them, they are good apples, but no better than theirs & harder to get them home. Mrs Dykeman is down stairs, but is not able to work, she will never be so she will do any more work to speak of again, I'm afraid. we have had a letter from Lena this week. the Dr's folks are good to her & she will stick to them, as long as she is not very well, she is in no condition to go down to your place, this summer, she may come out here for a day or so, but she is better off to stay near the Drs they are good nice people & she is lucky to have them, dont you know.
