Dear Doris

I have just made two pies & ironed my 7 pillow cases & now I will write the letter so Pa can carry it down to mail, when he goes back to the store.
We are having lots of cloudy days a little snow & a little rain and not very cold, but so icy I dont dare to venture out beyond the steps.
We are having great times this week. Pa goes to town meeting but comes home early & so misses the fun, he finds out the next day from Fred & gives anything if he had stayed to hear it. so next Monday night, it is to be continued, & he swears he'l stay if its till midnight to see it through. he is just as well off if he had stayed he might have got into an argument with Gitbert Fred
