Dear Doris

  This is a warm cloudy day.  The little birds are picking up the crumbs that we threw out around the steps mostly juncos & one red headed wood pecker in the Peach tree.  We have not seen bare ground for over a week now.  but I have ventured out in spite of the going.  I went down to the store yesterday & got home just ahead of Pa, but luckily my dinner was on the stove, before starting off.  I feel better to go out to take the air some part of the day, if its not more than to empty my ashes.  we go across on to Seaver Street with them, this winter, trying to make the side walk along
