Dear Folks,

Perhaps you would be interested in an itinerary following my departure from Stoughton. While buying my ticket I heard someone hail me familiarly and pleasantly. It was Edith Rose. We came in as far as Back Bay together. She seemed in good spirits. She said she had not as yet seen Doris's baby. After leaving the station, I stepped for a few moments into the Public Library lobby to glance over the bulletin board, then went over to the subway and spent the next 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 hours in the lower regions between Copley Square and Kendall Square, so that I did not get out to Brookline until about 11 o'clock. I took off my sweater and spread over my knees after a while, loaned a book to my seat mates and was highly entertained when a man in back
