Dear Doris,

We are having two days of mild rainy weather interesting but gloomy, I have washed the curtains in both kitchen and dining rooms and they are still hanging wet on the line. I suppose they will dry so I can iron them some time. At least they are whitening, when it clears it is going to grow colder according to the weather predictions. Pa forgot to carry down the Xmas box this morning, so I don't know when you will get it now. Possibly before Saturday no hurry Lolas xmas card we send down in, it as she did not know your present address. I have not sent off any as yet, but will have to get the out of town ones
