Lena is coming out Xmas, but she does not want us to go to any unnecessary expense, but Pa likes turkey & we think that for twice in the year, it does no harm to get some thing one likes. It lasts a week for us. We only wish you could be with us to enjoy it. Little Betty must be pretty cute these days. We only wish we could see her perform her little stunts. She seems to like her carriage & I think you are fond of taking her out in it. We got a card from Ralph & Maude with the pictures she took of us down to the cottage last summer. They were not very good but we were pleased to get them even so. Maude is thoughtful & I like her don't you?  Well Merry Xmas to you all  Ma.
