Dear Doris,

Yesterday the temperature went up to 50° but to day its a chilly sunless morning with no summer feeling about it. in Boston it run up to 52° & the middle of the week we were having O colder than any day last year. Pa saw a few scarlet fever cards in windows where he was driving around town, we had not heard of them. I hope you dont run into such things travelling around with the little one in her healthy condition she would not be so apt to take diseases. Jack Dightmans little girl has got to have her tonsils removed but not till her health is better. she has
