no appetite & is very much run down. They feed her on candy & if they dont stop it, I am afraid they will lose her, fools that they are. Our snow is about all gone, yesterday's sun was too much for it. I went down yesterday after a few things I needed & forgot the most needed of all as usual & that was thread. I am sewing on my patchwork & it takes a lot, so far I have used pretty stout thread. Monday I am going to do up the bundles & by Tuesday we send off the box by express, as you know it will get there before the end of the week as it will go direct. not much in it this year but you can recon the other box helps out some (we sent last month the preserves). Charley Long was here with our battery last night, & he spoke in great praise of Mr Blake & how he used to work in the store & remembered the old house, he seems a good little chap, but he is doing outside work to help pay for his house Pa says. Well the sun shines out once in a while so I guess it doesn't rain. Ma
