Doris
Last Sunday it seemed as if it was to be the end of our good weather but this week has had [[&er?]] 3 cold mornings and to day has been as last Sunday as fine as would be asked for we have been out of Doors nearly all day but thinking it would be better to be ready for cold days. we put the smoke pipe on the Heater and filled the water in and trimmed some of the Pine-Knot so they would go in the Heater I moved all that nut coal from the Bin to one side so as to be ready for the Soft. we have had a fairly easy week in the Office but have some work to do, the coming week

I think you are lucky having a chance to be home part of two days a week and until you get chaps collection all fixed you need not rush so take your time no one can find fault as how long it takes you to do it
