To day has been warm but a good breeze all day on the hill   no signs of a shower and it is seven oclock. I have not been off the premises all day.  Ida Pratt died Friday night and Fred & his wife have got to attend funeral to morrow so Fred will be on deck for part of day then off for the rest of week but will have to show up Saturday for the Bank work so as to have application ready for Monday [[?]] around 3   Amos who had come up to see Drake about Markris' came over and found me in the Hammock and stayed a hour or more and as he was going away a car stopped and Mamie & Helen Wales and Edith Jacquin came and were here for most two hours. Helen has one of the new Fords she uses it to go to her school. altogether they both were looking well and says for you to call out there when have
