Kasongan products have started reaching the Jakarta market this past year, tho shipping damage probably still a big problem
-more than any other village craftsmen the potters of Kasongan seem no longer to consider themselves farmers - self image is that of "craftsmen" + crafts here are not considered "sambilan" or supplement to agr. but a main occupation
