result was decision that / M will
be loaned via coop but with re-quirement
that must directly be loaned out

acc. to Dibyo Sastro + his clique "sakit hati" because controls placed by the 2 depts. on loan ("diawasi") - so they sabotaged the repayment plan, so could say that if Depts had turned it over to them it would have been run well (said they had asked for payments when hadn't, etc.)

acc. to Dibyo Sastro really doesn't want the industry in Kajar to maju because then the pengusaha could be independent of him

an example of sabotage - Bari, who stays at Sastro's house asked to collect friends for welding class and agreed, but then didn't show up regularly and class failed ((is this sabotage or was Bari pressed into the job and nobody was interested?))

-other industry coops in G.K. at Ngawen (caping barn boo hats) and Sodo (graters and winnowing trays), and one planned for Selang

- in response to question about whether is a strong man in Randukuning as in Kajar, answered that once a Selang man named Suradi who was becoming too strong in the Randuk. association; after warning by Dep. Per. the Dukoh of Randu-kuning given job of heading the association [IN LEFT MARGIN: rather confused - recheck]

Dukoh gave over to Randuk man named Suyadi (see our interview)

- in Budegan 30 KK ker. genteng who got loan (bantuan) 300,000 Rp to repaid w/out interest

this program worked out well because well-planned, but Dibyo feels have been many plans for bantuan which failed because bantuan given without good planning

- in (+/-) 1955 Dibyo one perapen in Kajar had only 3 workers:
1 empu
1 pemukul
1 ubub who got down and doubled as pemukul (contd. p. 21)
